| Description StageWorks Fresno proudly presents the Fresno premiere of the Pulitzer-Prize winning play I AM MY OWN WIFE by Doug Wright. Directed by J. Daniel Herring and starring Terry Lewis, the same team behind last year's Rogue hit, THE VELOCITY OF GARY (NOT HIS REAL NAME). I AM MY OWN WIFE is an examination of the life of German antiquarian Charlotte von Mahlsdorf, born Lothar Berfelde, who killed her father when she was a young child and survived the Nazi and Communist regimes in East Berlin as a transgendered person. |
