California Oncology of the Central Valley
6121 N. Thesta, Suite 204
The Art of Life® is a unique project designed to connect women cancer survivors with local artists to co-create beautiful works of art to celebrate life and survivorship. Dr. Christopher Perkins, Medical Director of California Oncology, believes in caring for the body, mind and spirit of his patients. The program gives women cancer survivors the opportunity to share their cancer journey on canvas, while experiencing the therapeutic benefits of art. Celebrating our 5th year of The Art of Life program we will be unveiling 17 works of art, created by 55 women cancer survivors. There will also be a grand masterpiece on display, featuring the thousands of art pieces created by survivors and the community at large. You are invited for the special unveiling and open house on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 9 am to Noon. There will be a special ceremony at 9:30am. Come enjoy refreshments, entertainment, the unveiling of the Community Art Project and The Art of Life® 2013 exhibit. This event is free to the public.
