Believe it when you see it at the Fresno Food Expo. The Expo is an annual event held in early March, it brings together the people behind one of the most productive and distinctive food producing regions in the world and offers members of the public the unique opportunity to meet these people who produce the food we eat, people who are only too happy to discuss every aspect of what went into the creation of the product that they lovingly produce. There are also samples galore offering the chance to be the first to taste products that are destined for the shelves of supermarkets around the world. Accommodation information for the FFE is available here . For more information on the FFE and to purchase tickets visit

Experience  it at the World Ag Expo , a historic annual event held during the second week of February. This is the world’s largest annual agriculture exposition with 1,600 exhibitors displaying the latest in farm equipment, chemicals, communications, and technology on 2.5 million square feet of exhibit space. Thousands of people from around the world will visit and enjoy meandering through the streets of the show grounds, great food and free seminars on a variety of topics important to dairy producers, farmers, ranchers, agribusiness professionals and the general public. Don’t miss the evening entertainment provided by internationally famous County music legends. Accommodation information for the WAE is available here . all that the Central Valley has to offer during National Ag Month, A month when producers, agricultural associations, corporations, universities, government agencies and countless others across America gather to recognize and celebrate the abundance provided by American agriculture. Appreciate and recognizes this time by joining us at an array of local festivals, events  and farm tours.

Taste valley agriculture at its finest in the many locally operated restaurants that take their menu inspiration from the fresh and specialty crops that are grown here, the meats that are reared here and the cheese, olive oils, sauces, jams, nuts, dried fruits, wine, beer and baked goods that are produced here.

•See agriculture at perhaps its prettiest with a tour (self-driven or guided) of the Fresno County Blossom Trail , A journey through orchards of peaches, plumbs, almonds and citrus fruits bursting with nature’s annual gift of bloom and perfume. Stop and shop along the way at farm stands cafes and art galleries. Depending on the temperature and precipitation, blossom season begins in mid-February through March with displays of wildflowers and orange blossom continuing through April.
