Come visit the Tower District bustling with an exciting "hipster vibe", vintage shops, beatnik clubs and the beautifully restored Art Deco Tower Theatre. Get that true California feeling at Fig Garden Village as you sample locally produced olive oil, take a wine-tasting class or relax on the patio at one of the neighborhoods upscale farm to fork eateries or take a trip back in time as you walk the cobbled streets of Old Town Clovis shopping for antiques.
Spend an evening soaking up the Art Scene in the Cultural Arts District, a morning of reflection at the Shinzen Gardens or an afternoon on a Wine Journey of award winning boutique wineries on Fresno county’s rural west side. There is still the Blossom Trail and the Fruit Trail but now, the results of this are here to be gloriously consumed in the fresh wonderfully diverse, culturally authentic "foodie scene" that Fresno and Clovis have become known for.
But wait, that’s not all that’s new… there is also a dedicated sporting outlook with a minor league affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, the Fresno Grizzlies playing all season long at the impressive Chukchansi Park. If activity at a different pace is for you then maybe it’s time to canoe the San Joaquin River or skate or bike one of the many BMX or Skate parks designed and built to do so.
